Critically Thinking about a Key COVID Lesson
We Have Been Let Down by Our Government, and Others We Trusted

As taxpayers and law-abiding citizens, we expect that local, state and federal medical agencies (as well as national medical organizations), are all primarily focused on giving citizens objective, timely, thorough, Science-based health information.

These parties should automatically be doing this as they are paid by the public (directly or indirectly). Further, they all have committed to provide optimum health advice.

But don’t take my word for the latter. Per their own published mission statements, every one of the main players of the US Medical Establishment makes righteous claims that they are acting in the best interest of the public health. For example:

The mission of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) says:

“The FDA is responsible for protecting the public health.”

The mission of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says:

“The CDC increases the health security of our nation. As the nation’s health protection agency, CDC saves lives and protects people from health threats.

“To accomplish our mission, CDC conducts critical science and provides health information that protects our nation against expensive and dangerous health threats…”

The mission of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) says:

“NIH’s mission is to seek fundamental knowledge about the nature and behavior of living systems and the application of that knowledge to enhance health, lengthen life, and reduce illness and disability.

“The goals of the agency are … to exemplify and promote the highest level of scientific integrity, public accountability, and social responsibility in the conduct of science.”

The mission of the American Medical Association (AMA) says:

“Throughout history, the AMA has always followed its mission: to promote the art and science of medicine, and the betterment of public health.

“As the physicians’ powerful ally in patient care, the AMA … removes obstacles that interfere with patient care, leading the charge to prevent chronic disease and confront public health crises…”

The mission of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) says:

“The mission of the AAP is to champion optimal physical, mental, and social health and well-being for all infants, children, adolescents, and young adults…”

The mission of the American Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB) says it:

“… supports its member boards as they fulfill their mandate of protecting the public’s health, safety and welfares.”

The mission of the American Hospital Association (AHA) says it is:

“… working tirelessly to provide the best care for patients, families and communities.”

These mission statements all sound quite admirable — but are they being adhered to?

One would think that with over a MILLION Americans reportedly dying from COVID-19, that these agencies and organizations would be at the top of their game.

Unfortunately the COVID-19 matter has exposed the unpleasant reality that these pious mission statement declarations are mostly virtue signaling. Instead (and regretfully), these agencies and organizations are acting in their own political and economic interests — and the public is essentially left to fend for themselves.

Stunningly, the evidence indicates that this clique of health experts has been a source of consistently inferior COVID-19 recommendations, that effectively undermined public health. For example, collectively they have provided:

1- Inadequate Preparation Advice (e.g., re optimizing our immune system)

2- Inadequate Safety Recommendations (e.g., regarding masks)

3- Inadequate Prevention Mandates (e.g., regarding bio-chemical injections)

4- Inadequate Early Treatment Protocols (e.g., regarding Ivermectin)

5- Inadequate Late Treatment Protocols (e.g., regarding Remdesivir)

6- Inadequate Data (e.g., re dying from COVID-19 vs dying with COVID-19)

7- Inadequate Explanation of Risk (e.g., relative risk vs absolute risk)

8- Inadequate Big Picture Description (e.g., regarding pandemic vs endemic)

Etc.

To properly explain the failings of each of these US Medical Establishment deficiencies is beyond the scope of this overview article.

However, for those who would like more specifics, please see the C19Science.info website, and start with carefully reviewing the three major reports listed there:

Scientific Observations on the Medical Establishment’s Handling of COVID-19

The FDA COVID-19 Drug Approval Process: Remdesivir vs Ivermectin

Then peruse the shorter reports in the next two sections. If your thirst for knowledge is still not satiated after that, then review the remaining materials listed there.

[If after studying that information carefully, and questions remain, feel free to email me and I’d be glad to try to answer any queries (my email is on the webpage).]

The bottom line is that the US Medical Establishment has failed to live up to its commitments to act in the best interest of the public in its recommendations regarding COVID-19 — which can only be done by rigorously adhering to real Science. Instead they have substituted political science.

In their role as a COVID-19 Pied Piper, the US Medical Establishment has mislead almost everyone. This includes medical practitioners, politicians at all levels, the military, businesses large and small, educational institutions, school boards, churches, the media, American citizens, plus numerous other countries around the world.

That the vast majority trustingly followed their inferior (unscientific) advice, has resulted in unprecedented losses of American lives, incalculable financial burdens for US citizens and businesses, profound psychological harm, unwarranted societal divisions, erosion of our educational system, a decay in our religious underpinning, and an unparalleled extraction of rights and freedoms.

This can’t help but bring into focus the prescient warning of Lincoln, that America’s greatest threat is not from a foreign adversary, but rather from within.

Shame on them — and shame on us for not holding these parties accountable!
