As a country, our most important natural resource is not the one we put foremost in our political decision making. Children do not make a voting block, so their needs are ignored by politicians. The leftists of the world have been on a crusade to find every way possible to hurt children and their futures. Covid-CCP is just another way the left has taken advantage of children and families and deeply hurt them.
It is well past time to put our children and their interests to the top of the list. It is well past time to find a way to hold these people accountable for their massive crimes. It is time to protect our young people and pray for them.
1- We were stunned to see this decision by the far-left mayor of the District of Columbia. She is throwing the lives of over 40% of black children into turmoil by tossing them out of public school for not getting an injection we all know does NOTHING good.
There has been a lot of push back on this decision but, if they back down, it will be only until the mid-term election is over.
DC Mayor Says No Virtual Learning, Giving Unvaccinated Black Teens Zero Alternative Options
QUOTE: The District of Columbia does not appear to have a contingency plan for unvaccinated students, who are banned from attending schools in person this fall after the first 20 days, according to comments made by Washington, D.C., Mayor Muriel Bowser Thursday.
During a press conference, Bowser, a Democrat, admitted there are no alternative options, including virtual learning, for students who cannot attend school due to the District’s vaccine mandate, meaning unvaccinated children will effectively be left without an education.
Over 40% of blacks ages 12-17 are not vaccinated, according to city data.
The Daily Signal asked Bowser what the plan was for unvaccinated students. Washington, D.C., public schools start Monday.
The office continued, “If the student does not come into compliance within a 20-school day period, the school must remove the student from school until the immunization certification is secured by the school.”
When pressed on whether or not unvaccinated children would have to use virtual learning for their education if they were not compliant with the vaccine mandate, Bowser said, “We’re not offering remote learning for children, and families will need to comply with what is necessary to come to school.”

A Belated Vindication for School Reopeners
QUOTE: The Stolen Year acknowledges the public schools’ COVID failures but refuses to hold anyone responsible.
The Stolen Year: How COVID Changed Children’s Lives, and Where We Go Now, by Anya Kamenetz, is a chronicling of the horrors wrought by COVID policies that kept American kids from their school buildings and childhood milestones for more than a year, this book was written by someone at the scene of the crime, intimate with the gory details, and ultimately uninterested in reckoning with who was responsible for it. This is a whodunnit without a culprit.
As The Stolen Year’s title implies, a crime was perpetrated on U.S. children during the pandemic—one that “increase[d] inequality and destroy[ed] individual hopes and dreams,” one whose “impact can be measured for a generation,” in author Anya Kamenetz’s words.
Kamenetz, an NPR education reporter, is highly credentialed and well-informed. But if the pandemic taught us anything, it’s that degrees and area expertise don’t necessarily lead people to good decisions or sound interpretations of data. Knowing the facts was not synonymous with having the courage to buck the pressure to padlock playgrounds.
There were signs in Kamenetz’s reporting that she understood that the risks of opening schools were being exaggerated and the harms of closures downplayed. (I frequently shared her early reporting on YMCAs safely opening for children of essential workers.) Despite that, she admits that she and her colleagues largely missed the biggest story in the modern education beat’s history.
“It was all easy to predict,” she told The Grade. “So we could have been a lot louder.”
They could have been louder.
The Stolen Year is right about the science that would have allowed public schools in blue America to open, and it’s right about the terrible consequences of ignoring it. This is welcome—and coming from an NPR reporter, it might convince liberals who would otherwise reject the idea that their leaders caused massive increases in historic inequities. If only it had come sooner and much louder.
3- Fauci and his gaggle of bureaucrats are to blame for setting a generation of American children behind for all of their lives. He must be held to account for this.

What Fauci got wrong is still costing America’s children
QUOTE: If you want proof that Anthony S. Fauci has no idea of the damage done by the pandemic lockdown policies he advocated, here it is: Asked by Fox News’s Neil Cavuto this week if he regrets the school closures that kept kids out of the classroom and “forever damaged them,” Fauci replied, “I don’t think it’s forever irreparably damaged anyone.”
His ignorance and lack of remorse are stunning. “Children fell far behind in school during the first year of the pandemic and have not caught up,” writes David Leonhardt of the New York Times. One study by Harvard’s Center for Education Policy Research found that students who stayed home for most of 2020-2021 lost the equivalent of about 50 percent of a typical school year’s math learning. Black and Hispanic students, as well as students in schools with high poverty rates, were disproportionately damaged.
A 2021 McKinsey & Company study found that schools with majority Black populations were six months behind in math and reading. A March Brookings study found that test-score gaps between students in low-poverty and high-poverty elementary schools grew approximately 20 percent in math and 15 percent in reading during the 2020-2021 school year. Curriculum Associates found that schools serving majority Black and Latino students reported “almost double the amount of unfinished learning” in third-grade reading and math than did schools schools where the majority of students were White.
This damage is irreparable: If kids don’t learn to read and do basic math, they can’t perform expected work in subsequent grades and will fall further and further behind.
4- It is vital that a society have total confidence and trust in the rule of law. Which is why when we see that a judge is ruling sensibly and constitutionally we will make a note of it.
This fad of forcing children into body mutilation and castration is a nightmare that must be halted.
Federal Court Blocks Biden Admin from Forcing Doctors to Perform Gender Transitions
QUOTE: A federal appeals court blocked a Biden administration plan Friday that would coerce doctors to perform gender-transition medical procedures and abortions that violate their conscience or medical judgment.
The plaintiffs, a religious hospital and group of over 20,000 health-care professionals, launched the lawsuit against the Department of Health and Human Services in August 2016 after the federal government mandated that most health-care providers perform and provide insurance coverage for such procedures.
The district court had determined that HHS could not interpret or enforce Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act, which prohibits health-care programs that receive federal funds from discriminating against patients on the basis of sex, to compel Franciscan Alliance to insure gender-reassignment surgeries or abortions, according to the court filing. In May 2016, HHS expanded Section 1557’s definition of sex discrimination to include discrimination on the basis of “termination of pregnancy” and “gender identity.” Secretary of HHS Xavier Becerra appealed the district court’s ruling.
On Friday, circuit judges Jennifer Walker Elrod, Willett, and Kurt Engelhardt affirmed the decision of the district court that granted Franciscan Alliance a permanent injunction, barring the HHS from forcing it to provide gender-reassignment surgeries or abortions against its religious beliefs.
Earlier this month, Luke Goodrich, attorney with the Becket Fund who has been working on the case since the Obama-era rule was first issued, said in a call with reporters that if the plaintiffs had lost, the Biden administration would have declared “open season” on religious hospitals that object to gender transitions.
“If we lose, that means all these tens of thousands of religious doctors and hospitals all across the country are subject to massive financial penalties,” Goodrich said.
5- Over the past two years we have heard from many frustrated health care workers. They have ALL been placed in terrible situations by their leadership, their government, by drug companies, and by horrible “experts” who claim to know science. Now some of them are finding a why to speak out.

Silenced healthcare workers speak out publicly for the first time
QUOTE: Here’s what silenced healthcare workers from all over the world want you to know and why they aren’t able to speak out directly.
I created a form to ask healthcare workers to speak anonymously about what they are seeing.
Here is a quick summary of some of the things they said:
1. They are afraid to come out publicly due to intimidation tactics such as loss of job and/or license to practice medicine.
2. Unvaccinated healthcare workers are extremely upset with the medical community. They feel they have been treated unfairly.
3. It is the vaccinated workers who are getting sick with COVID, but it is the unvaccinated who are punished with constant testing, restrictions, and threats of losing their jobs.
4. The COVID shots are a disaster. Even for the elderly which is supposed to be the most compelling use case, death rates in elderly homes went up by a factor of 5 after the shots rolled out. Each time the shots are given, the deaths spike. Nobody is talking publicly about this. It’s not allowed.
5. Doctors are seeing rates of injury and death increase dramatically in all ages of people. The injuries are only happening to the vaccinated. There is no doubt that this is happening but many doctors have so much cognitive dissonance that they don’t see it.
6. One nurse with 23 years of experience says she’s never heard of anyone under 20 dying from cardiac issues until the vaccines rolled out. Now she knows of around 30 deaths.
7. “I have been a nurse for 36 years. I have NEVER witnessed people in their 20s and 30s having strokes, atrial fibrillation, or cardiomyopathies until the Covid vaccines. I work in cardiology. When I mention that someone should look at the vaccines as a possible reason, I am immediately silenced and told, “It is NOT from the vaccine.””
8. Doctors aren’t recording vaccination status in the medical records so that all the deaths are attributed to the unvaccinated.
9. Doctors are deliberately ignoring the possibility that the vaccines could be the cause of all the elevated events. The events are simply all unexplained.
10. Many doctors have either quit or will quit.
