Ron DeSantis: ‘Put on the Full Armor of God … Take a Stand Against the Left’s Schemes’
QUOTE: Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) pointed to scripture to show fellow conservatives how to battle against the radical left and their schemes, urging the crowd to “put on the full armor of God.”
“If you’re running for the legislature, if you’re just a concerned citizen going to a school board meeting, you’re going to a public meeting, standing up and speaking the truth and standing for the right things at this moment in time is not cost free,” he said at the 2022 Sunshine Summit Victory dinner.
Anyone doing that will face opposition, he said, using the pushback his administration received from the left and establishment media during the height of the Chinese coronavirus as an example. He said:
When you’re in this situation and you have all these different forces that are basically trying to muddy the waters, they’re trying to create blizzard of lies to blind all of us from what’s actually going on, when you’re willing, in that environment, to just stand up and speak the truth, they’re gonna hit you, they’re gonna hit you and they’re gonna hit you.
While the governor said it is crucial to be “right” on the issues, that alone is not enough. One must have the courage of their convictions to stand up against the corrupt establishment media, cancel culture, the woke mob, and the “Brandon Administration,” he emphasized, before giving the ultimate word of advice to fellow conservative Floridians, straight out of Ephesians 6.
“You gotta be ready for battle. So put on the full armor of God,” he said, triggering a round of applause. “Take a stand against the left’s schemes. Stand firm with the belt of truth buckled around your waist. You will face fire from flaming arrows, but the shield of faith will protect you.”
“We’re just getting warmed up. I’ve only begun to fight,” he declared. “I’m standing my ground, walking the line all the way through the finish line, and I can tell you this. With your help and everybody behind us, there is no doubt in my mind that come November, we are going to keep the state of Florida free.”
QUOTE: Arthur Pawlowski, a Canadian pastor who was arrested and jailed for holding a church service during a COVID lockdown, has had a resounding victory in court, setting aside the charges against him and reimbursing all fines.
Pawlowski is the minister of Calgary Street Church. He was reportedly harassed and arrested by Calgary police in the middle of a highway on May 9, 2021, as he was driving home from church. His congregants had gathered without masks for the service and it was deemed to be in violation of public health orders. The pastor and his brother David Pawlowski were charged with organizing an illegal in-person gathering, as well as “requesting, inciting, or inviting others” to participate in it with them.
In October, a judge found the brothers in contempt of Alberta’s May 6 health order. He imposed a draconian requirement on the pastor, mandating that he had to utter a government-approved statement saying that most medical experts support social distancing, face masks, and vaccines whenever he publicly spoke out against pandemic restrictions.
That case flipped upside down on Friday when an appeals court ruled that the Alberta Health Agency’s order prohibiting “illegal public gatherings” was “not sufficiently clear and unambiguous” in connection to the Pawlowskis. “It’s a slam dunk win. The Court of Appeal made a unanimous, sound decision and overturned the finding of contempt made against my client,” Pawlowski’s attorney Sarah Miller tweeted.
Pawlowski suffered as a child under Polish communist rule but he never thought he would go through what he has endured in Canada. He was jailed for weeks in February, reportedly spending 23 hours a day in solitary confinement at the Calgary Remand Centre. He was sent there after daring to speak to truckers with the Freedom Convoy who were protesting vaccine mandates at the U.S.-Canada border.
“I can feel your prayers, and they keep me strong,” the pastor proclaimed from his cell. “God allows me to be here for a witness to the entire world, to show what happens when you kick God out of your nation. Lawlessness, injustice, abuse of power and corruption creeped in.”
Florida’s Surplus Budget Allows DeSantis to Help Families with $450 Per Child to Fight Inflation
QUOTE: Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is overseeing a relief effort for some 60,000 families in the state hit hardest by rising inflation with a one-time payment of $450 per child.
“These letters are real,” DeSantis’s press secretary, Christina Pushaw, said in a tweet with a copy of the documents families will receive.
“The federal government causes inflation by deficit spending,” Pushaw wrote. “Stimulus checks were part of that. By contrast, the budget surplus in Florida is at the state level and it’s already money in existence, we do not print money here. So — no, it doesn’t cause inflation.”
At the roundtable, DeSantis said the one-time $450 per child payments could be used for food, school supplies, or “whatever they need to make their kids successful.” The First Lady said foster parents, adoptive parents, and single mothers were all eligible for the funds.

I also want to make sure you are aware of our state’s “Back-to-School” sales-tax holiday, which will take place from July 25 through August 7, to help you get the supplies you need to prepare for the upcoming school year. Supplies that will be tax-free during this time include clothing, bags, computers, shoes and other school supplies.

Trump Was Right About Europe’s Dangerous Dependence On Russian Energy

For years, Europe has depended on Russia for more than 40 percent of its natural gas imports as well as a large portion of its oil and solid fuels. Now that Russia is embroiled in war and facing sanctions from multiple nations, it has tightened its supply to the European Union. As a result, Europeans are struggling with an energy crisis that is forcing millions to dim their lights and ration hot water.
One Washington Post article soberly announced, “Europe braces for gas ‘nightmare’ as pipeline from Russia shuts off,” after news that the Nord Stream 1 pipeline carrying natural gas was scheduled to undergo days of maintenance that would halt an already slowing flow of energy to Germany.
Former President Donald Trump predicted this energy power struggle in September 2018 in his speech at the U.N. General Assembly.
Shortly after Trump’s U.N. remarks, the Washington Post published an article headlined, “Trump accused Germany of becoming ‘totally dependent’ on Russian energy at the U.N. The Germans just smirked.”
Ever since then-German Chancellor Angela Merkel forced her nation to close down all its nuclear power plants after the 2011 Fukushima disaster in Japan, Germany has not only “created the highest global electricity prices per household in the world,” as noted by Federalist Senior Editor David Harsanyi, but it has also significantly increased its dependence on Russia for energy. This energy flow from Russia is especially needful when the nation’s other green power initiatives such as solar and wind fail to meet demand.
Now Germany, Austria, Italy, and the Netherlands are looking “to resurrect old coal plants” to remedy what has become a problem that could stretch into the imminent cold winter. The Germans aren’t smirking anymore.
5- You can clearly see their goals. They say it out loud all the time. They wreaked our economy on purpose to achieve their globalist goals.
QUOTE: Lower economic activity means less income, job security and wealth for the working class. Simultaneously, increased energy costs mean more expenses for the same workers who are losing income and wealth. This is the ‘managing’ part of their collectively “managed transition.” They are monitoring and managing the pitchforks.
On Meet the Press with Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, you will note she says “lower economic activity during this transition” is good. She also happily says businesses are taking “appropriate” action to lower their activity, because that is exactly what the central planners want. They want businesses to do less, create less, sell less, even employ less, because ultimately, they want businesses to help advance the cause of climate change by consuming less energy resources.
In order to support the energy objectives of the various governments’, the central banks are trying -and succeeding- to lower economic activity.
Less economic activity means lower energy needs. This is what they call “managing the transition” to the new economy based on “sustainable energy.”
None of this is being done accidentally. All of this is being done with forethought and implicit intention.
Unfortunately, for the average person this means the banks and policy makers have entered a phase where it is in their interests to shrink the global economy. They are trying to control the collapse of the various economies by working together. This means less jobs, less work, a lower standard of living, and a period of extreme financial pressure for the average person.
The government policy makers are planning to do just that, spend more. They practiced during the COVID economic lockdowns, now they will execute a similar policy path as they manage the energy transition.
The entire time the western government architects are doing this, they must keep the demand for traditional energy products like coal, oil and gas at the lowest demand possible. That is why the central banks and politicians must keep economic activity at the lowest -yet survivable- rate possible.
