PRESS RELEASE: Defending the Repuplic files TRO on behalf of military members
October 7, 2021- On Wednesday, Defending the Republic and our local counsel filed a preliminary injunction and temporary restraining order on behalf of active-duty service members fighting for their right to refuse the experimental COVID-19 vaccines.This filing asks the court to prevent these servicemen and women from being mandated to receive the vaccines and to stop the U.S. government from punishing them if they refuse. It further asks the court to grant emergency relief and find the Department of Defense vaccine mandate and the FDA’s “approval” of the Comirnaty vaccine to be unlawful. As prior courts have ruled, the U.S. government “cannot demand that members of the armed forces also serve as guinea pigs for experimental drugs.”
