As we begin Thanksgiving week, we are taking time out for a few days to take a breath. Our uniquely American holiday gives us the perfect reminder that:
Our country was founded on a quest for Freedom and Independence.
It was not an easy task 250 years ago. It is certainly not easy in 2022. In truth, it will always be challenging.
We are here for the challenge and we will fight for this nation in every way we can for as long as we can. But, this week, we want to be grateful.
The psychological benefits of gratitude are numerous. Gratitude neutralizes negative emotions while also boosting our happiness and optimism.
Expressing thanks results in positive effects beyond psychological and social well-being.
Grateful people sleep better, have stronger immune systems, and are more resilient to trauma. Individuals become more interconnected through expressions and feelings of gratitude.
Grateful children and adolescents are more generous and make active contributions to their communities.
In the spirit of Thanksgiving we want you all to know our deep and abiding gratitude that each of you are in this community with us.
Your support in all its forms never fails to have us in awe and sincere appreciation.
Take time in the next few days to improve your life with gratefulness; for our country, our faith and our families.
We will be back on Monday, November 28 to continue this battle.
Pray. Be Thankful. Share.
