Dear Patriots,
QUOTE: Yesterday, Senator Chuck Grassley sent this letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland and FBI Director Christopher Wray regarding allegations from “highly credible whistleblowers” about the FBI’s “false portrayal” of derogatory Hunter Biden materials as “disinformation.”
If these allegations are true, it’s a damning depiction of FBI leadership and it proves their efforts to influence the 2020 election. This is the second (if not third) straight election the FBI has meddled in, given the influence the Trump/Russia investigation – and its unlawful origins with the FBI – had over the 2018 midterms.
Grassley’s whistleblowers allege that in August 2020, FBI Headquarters “improperly discredit[ed] negative Hunter Biden information as disinformation and caused investigative activity to cease.” In fact, it was a scheme of top FBI officials.
The context and timing is important, as this was leading up to the 2020 election. Who benefited from this scheme? Democrat candidate Joe Biden. And it appears the FBI’s scheme furthered the interests of Congressional Democrats.
QUOTE: The FBI was reticent to share this information before the election. When then-Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe stated there was “no intelligence to support” allegations of Russian disinformation efforts tied to the Hunter Biden materials, the FBI responded they had “nothing to add at this time.” Of course, this is apparently now disproven. The FBI had something to add. They just didn’t want to share it with the American people.
QUOTE: This gives us another question: who is making these prosecuting decisions – is it the career prosecutors, or is it Main Justice?
If Hunter Biden escapes the FARA charges, or if he isn’t indicted before the upcoming elections, I think we can safely assume Main Justice is pulling some strings. And that’s a scandal in its own right.
Federal COVID narratives in retreat with boosted Biden’s infection, Birx admission, Djokovic ban
QUOTE: A week after President Biden claimed people vaccinated against COVID-19 couldn’t get infected, CDC Director Rochelle Walensky contradicted him and warned Americans that vaccination wasn’t even reducing viral loads in infected people, making them vectors of transmission.
To justify his sweeping vaccine mandates for large employers and healthcare workers, the commander-in-chief continued claiming for several months that vaccination stops transmission, getting fact-checked along the way and challenged by data from around the world.
With the fully vaccinated and boosted Biden and Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) both contracting COVID in the past week, federal narratives on vaccine effectiveness are in sharp retreat, while the country is progressively souring on each new authorization.
The failure of Biden’s second booster to protect him from infection less than four months after receiving it is provoking wider skepticism of ongoing federal policy.
The U.S. Open cited the “U.S. government’s position regarding travel into the country for unvaccinated non-U.S. citizens” to bar from this year’s tournament unvaccinated Novak Djokovic, who just won Wimbledon and needs just one more Grand Slam singles title to tie Rafael Nadal for the all-time lead.
Republican Sens. Ted Cruz of Texas and Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee blasted the president to the Daily Mail for the “absurd” ban on entry for unvaccinated foreigners.
QUOTE: Nearly 18 months of private chats between friends from the Trump White House show that Jan. 6 Committee star witness Cassidy Hutchinson dramatically changed her story about what she knew and how she felt about what she witnessed as a White House staffer.
When Hutchinson testified in Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s Soviet-style show trial last month, the former White House aide to Chief of Staff Mark Meadows said she “still struggle[s] to work through the emotions” of Jan. 6.
QUOTE: Left-wing media outlets were quick to brand the 25-year-old aide as the show-stopping witness whose testimony was on par with the most devastating revelations from Watergate. The Boston Globe said that while some call her “the new John Dean” — the Watergate witness whose testimony harmed Richard Nixon — she was actually “more impressive.” CNN said Hutchinson’s revelations were “worse.” NPR called them “explosive.” The Bulwark called her a “heroine.” The Washington Post declared her commentary “damning” and even illustrated her appearance in an online graphic novel. The New York Times published an op-ed headlined, “Cassidy Hutchinson Changes Everything.”
Yet in a series of private communications from December 2020 through May 2021, shared exclusively with The Federalist, Hutchinson commiserated with other targets of the probe about how little information she had about any wrongdoing that day, and lamented how corrupt the politicized committee was. Far from being upset with Trump, Hutchinson repeatedly spoke in favor of him and his presidency.
Teacher Grooming Remains Real Issue Despite Media Caricatures
QUOTE: Despite attempts from liberal media outlets to downplay it, abuse of students by teachers in public schools remains a pressing problem. Vox referred to the furor over “grooming” as a “moral panic.” NPR, funded with your tax dollars, described the word as “homophobic.” But unfortunately, the concerns regarding teacher misconduct are not unfounded.
The basic fact is incontrovertible: every day, a public school teacher is arrested, indicted, or convicted for child sex abuse. And yet, the teachers unions, the public school bureaucracies, and the left-wing media pretend that the abuse isn’t happening and viciously attack families who raise concerns.
The handling of sexual abuse in the Catholic Church is rightly regarded as a scandal. Should the school system not receive the same scrutiny? Some on the left can ignore, evade, or downplay the magnitude of this problem, but it is real. And until we confront it and put in place policies to address it, it will remain real.

On the day she went to prison, she released this statement about the judge who sentenced her. While in law school, the judge asked Dr. Gold out and she said no. He should have recused himself as the judge in her case.
